It is durable yet its lightweight feature allows more fire hose to be carried or packed within the same space requirements. Being synthetic the maintenance of this fire hose is greatly reduced. Construction: Circular bias woven, single jacket, 100% virgin filament polyester. Tube: Extruded T.P.U. elastomer - ozone and age resistant.

This is a brass fitting needed to connect the hose to a common water supply. One end has NPT (American Standard Taper Pipe Thread) to connect to your water supply. The other end has NST (American Standard Fire Hose Coupling Thread) to connect to the hose.

Each (Backyard fire protection Kit) comes with the Hose, the Nozzle, Brass Fitting and instructions. For these kits to work properly, the 1 inch kit will need a 1 inch or larger water supply line with a minimum water supply of 30 gallons per minute. The 1½ inch kit, will need a 1½ inch or larger water supply line with a minimum water supply of 60 gallons per minute.
